Python® SSC style transmission terminations are designed for gas insulated substation applications on solid dielectric cable systems rated up to 550kV IEC (500kV IEEE). They are offered in the conventional version and for the Plug-in/Plug-out is available up to 245kV IEC (230kV IEEE) . Plug-in/Plug-out offers additional advantages over Conventional installation. Used in gas insulated substation and transformer applications on extruded dielectric cable systems rated u to 55kV IEC (500kV IEEE).

Plug-in/Plug-out – Allows for removal of the plug and provides a visual disconnect of the circuit
