Sumary
Ensure the uninterrupted supply of materials required for production through effective material planning, inventory optimization, supplier coordination, and timely procurement activities, maintaining the right balance between inventory levels, production requirements, and supply chain performance.
Activities
- Analyze material requirements to ensure continuous supply for production based on demand, production schedules, and inventory levels.
- Monitor material availability in the ERP system and proactively identify potential shortages affecting production.
- Plan and maintain safety stock, reorder points, minimum order quantities, and inventory parameters to optimize inventory levels.
- Follow up with suppliers on purchase orders, production status, shipment schedules, and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely submission of commercial invoices and shipping documentation required for import processes.
- Monitor inbound shipments and provide visibility of delivery status to production, warehouse, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Production teams to resolve material shortages, inventory discrepancies, and urgent requirements.
- Generate and maintain purchase orders for direct materials as required to support production continuity.
- Create and maintain material master data, including part numbers and Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring system accuracy.
- Analyze inventory performance, material consumption, inventory turns, and excess or obsolete inventory, proposing improvement actions.
- Develop and implement initiatives to optimize inventory levels while maintaining material availability.
- Support monthly financial closing through purchase order and inventory analysis.
- Coordinate with Accounting and Finance to ensure proper processing and reconciliation of supplier documentation.
- Support supplier performance management by following up on delivery, quality, and service issues, escalating when necessary.
- Participate in cost reduction and supply chain improvement initiatives through collaboration with suppliers.
Requeriments
- Education: Industrial, electrical, electromechanical engineer or graduate in commerce or related.
- Experience: At least 1 years in a similar position.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment (desirable)
- Quality tools.

- Knowledge of ISO 14001, 9001 and 45001 standards.
