- Review and understand the design requirements of disconnectors or reclosers.
- Participate in design review meetings when necessary.
- Provide support for the departments that make up the organization as necessary.
- Detail and draw new solid parts or accessories used in disconnectors or restorers as necessary.
- Prepare drawings with mechanical details, assembly instructions, tolerances, and lists of materials.
- Select and integrate the following components of the disconnector or restorer:
- Current and voltage transformers.
- Control packages.
- Protection or sectioning mechanisms.
Motors and mounting kit.
- o Sheet metal structures or developments.
- Release of drawings as required by the purchase order and upload of bill of materials to the JDE system.
- Support in functional testing to manufacturing when necessary.
Preparation of manuals, instructions and control sheets to review the previous
- Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- A minimum of two (2) years of related mechanical design working experience on electro-mechanical equipment or devices
- At least (2) years electrical control design, programming, and commissioning experience
- Working experience with AutoCAD and Pro-E
- Knowledge of power distribution system and application is preferred
- Basic Knowledge of ISO 14001 (Aspect and impact)
