Mex Field Service Engineer (Mexico City)

Position Summary

Provide comprehensive support for all G&W products installed for national customers, adhering to the guidelines established by the sales process. Location: Based in Mexico City

  • Provide high-quality service and customer support during field visits.
  • Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks.
  • Diagnose technical errors or problems and determine effective solutions.
  • Produce timely, detailed service reports and document processes in systems such as SFDC or JDE.
  • workflow to schedules and cooperate with the production team to share information across the organization.
  • Prepare quotes for requested services and spare parts.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for the team and in classroom settings.
  • Comprehend customer requirements to make appropriate recommendations and build positive long-term relationships.
  • Operate tools and machines safely, following all company field procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) campaigns, water/energy conservation initiatives, and ensure proper waste segregation by area.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering.

    • Proven experience working with low and medium voltage electrical equipment (high voltage experience is a plus).
    • Experience: * Minimum of 2 years in a similar position.
    • Languages: Advanced English proficiency.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
    • General knowledge of Management Systems: ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
    • Strong negotiation skills.
