Position Summary:

Reporting to the Global Manager, Talent Acquisition, this position is responsible for providing full life cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions. Additionally, the Contract Recruiter’s responsibilities include coordinating our hiring process, sourcing qualified candidates, and applying advanced interviewing techniques. The successful candidate has a true hunter mentality with proven success in filling highly technical roles ranging from manufacturing to engineering. Ultimately, you’ll employ your specialized skills and network to help us bring the right people on board.

Primary/Essential Responsibilities:   

  • Meet with managers, HR, and TA teams to discuss their hiring needs and formulate strategy.
  • Design and coordinate the hiring process.
  • Source qualified candidates via job sites, databases, networking, etc.
  • Be a brand ambassador and stay active on social media channels in effort to expand and grow the Employer Brand.
  • Identify and develop partnerships with relevant organizations, events, and communities for target skillset and talent needs.
  • Select and present qualified candidates to hiring teams.
  • Help hiring teams interview candidates through various methods (e.g. structured interviews, behavioral interviews).
  • Advise hiring managers to help them make better hiring decisions.
  • Create reports on hiring progress and other recruiting metrics.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires.
  • Provide premiere candidate experience.  
  • Participate in on-campus recruitment efforts, including the development of an annual summer internship program and associated university recruitment/partnership strategies.
  • Coordinate with the HR team on other projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 3 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience in a combination of high-level corporate and highly technical roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking systems including reporting and candidate management.
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and practices, all areas of recruiting and of employment laws and regulations.
  • Hands-on experience in the entire recruitment life cycle.
  • Knowledge of effective hiring practices (e.g. social media recruiting).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Industry hiring experience is a plus.
  • Engineering recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
